Little League and Girls programs still open.Updated Tuesday February 5, 2019 by Kanata Baseball Association.
REGISTER NOW! ** Waitlisting for Senior and Rally Cap/Rookie **
Late fee will apply $25 on Monday March 20th so don't be late!
Registration is now open for Spring season programs (May and June). Sortouts for all divisions will take place April 14th, 15th (schedules to be posted early April). Register early to avoid dissapointment - Baseball has become very popular in our region (38% increase last year) which will cause us to close programs after registration is full.
Rally Cap (for players born between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2013)
This division will be sorted into three Tiers of play based on player rankings at sort-outs. Tier 1 will be an intensified Rookie program, Tier 3 will be an entry level program, Tier 2 will be a progression inbetween. Teams will play at multiple diamonds throughout the region.
This division is new this year. The top players in Rally Cap that plan to play for 4 months may be selected during the evaluations to one of the Rookie Teams. These teams will stay together from spring to summer. Rookie teams will get two sessions in the Cubhouse in April for Spring Training.
Little League (for players born between May 1, 2005 and Dec 31, 2008)
Players will be tiered into 3 groups: 9/10, 10/11, 11/12 based on age and sort-out rankings. 9/10 is the Minor program, 11/12 is the Major program and 10/11 is the newly inserted program in between. This allows a program that balances factors of age and ability in a Little League conforming structure. All Little League teams will get two sessions in the Cubhouse in April for spring training.
Senior League (for players born between Sept 1, 2001 and April 30, 2005)
Senior will be played on a 60/90 diamond, Junior will be on a 54/80 diamond. Allocation of players into the different divisions will be determined based on registration and sort-outs. Senior teams will participate in Interlock play throughout the city. All Senior League teams will get two sessions in the Cubhouse in April for spring training.
